Someting new about Essay #3

I would like to interview the woman who is immigrant and has worked a varity of jobs, such as a seamstress, a cashier, a teacher assistant and so on. During she worked as low-wage jobs, she belived that as long as improving herself jobs skills, she would get higher-position jobs. Therefore, she study at a college after work. However, her ex-husband didn't think that women should go to work and get high-educated. There were quarrels between them so that they divorced finally. She didn't give up working and studying. Eventually, she got a master degree. She is a teacher in a primary school now.
My research questions are how immigrant women solve their hardship when they in foreign countries and how they fight for freedom with their husbands and what difficulties they meet when they want to get better education.

Interview questions:
1. What did you feel when you just came to the United States? When did you have homesick?
2. Why did you think that you should go to work?
3. What happened when you work in service industy?
4. Why did you decide to go to college ?Tell me something when you were in college.

  1. This looks great! I think you're ready to go ahead and do your interview. Be sure to have the person talk about their background as well as the current situation. Remember to ask follow ups.
