The image of work I have growing up

My family have been in the U.S. for a year. When we were in China, my parents work as executives in a construction company. They had to plan a lot of things and solve many problems during working. Their duties were how to build buildings in excellent ways, how to make sure the buildings they built were quality and how to fix them when the accidents happened. Besides that, they needed to socialize with their clients, especially my dad. He 's almost drunk when he met his clients. He feared to drink but he had to do it. Although he was afraid of it, he liked to share ideas with each other. And my mom, she was busy on her office work and housework. But she loved it very much. When she found out and solved the problems, she was proud of them.
Nowadays, Dad works as a construction worker and Mom is a housemaker because of language barrier. It's very tired to do a lot manual labor for Dad. In order to earn money for living, he insists on keeping it going. I apperciate my parents very much.

  1. Well it sounds like you have two great role models to look up to for the right idea of work ethic. I think it's parents that help teach that sense of responsibility for us, in the work place. To see your father, keeping at the manual labor even though it's tiresome, must be a motivation to you. And I know what having a stay at home mom is like, and their concern for her family, (even if it was a language barier that kept her home) must be a great example also, of responsibility.
